Servant-Leadership Training and Mentoring for Men

WHO ARE WE?

Pastures is a men’s leadership and mentoring ministry and part of Wisdom in a Whisper Ministries. At Pastures, we equip, support, and inspire men in every season of life for God-honouring servant leadership in the home, community, and workplace. Pastures’ mentors are “co-labourers” who are committed to developing authentic mentor-mentee relationships by walking alongside mentees through the various stages of their personal and professional lives, providing biblically based, God-centered teaching, coaching and support so that they may positively impact their spheres of influence for the Glory of God.

    We support men of God through mentoring, prayer, fellowship, and accountability.

    Through training and mentoring, we inspire men of God to follow Jesus’ example of loving and leading by serving others at home, in the community and in the workplace.

In the Pasture

In the pasture, co-labourers and mentees meet individually in person or online for individual mentoring sessions. During each bi-weekly Pasture Session, co-labourers come alongside mentees to provide individualized training and coaching in biblical servant leadership and spiritual development. Co-labourers guide mentees, equipping them to uncover areas for spiritual and professional growth and apply biblical principles to remove obstacles and spiritual strongholds, enabling them to embrace God’s vision for their personal and professional lives as they strive for excellence in Christlikeness.

At the Well

The well is a community space where participants have fellowship through small bible study and accountability groups. Well Groups consisting of eight individuals meet bi-monthly virtually or in person. During the 1-hour session, mentees led by a co-labourer share, reflect, study the word, and worship God. Well-group participants can expect to be challenged to grow, supported in their faith walk and recentered in God’s purpose for their ministry and lives. 

On the Mount

At the Mount, Pastures, mentees have access to resources that deepen their spiritual walk, including the Wisdom in a Whisper blog, “The Mount,” with weekly reflections, monthly podcasts, book lists, and personal testimonials of God’s transformative work in the lives of participants from all over the world. Participants may opt to have their name and contact information listed in the Wisdom in a Whisper Directory, where they will be connected to a broad network of men faithfully serving the kingdom as servant leaders.

“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labour. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.”
